What Up!  Welcome to Done Being Broke’s 5 Step Program.  At this point, you have already passed the stage of acceptance.  Now that you have decided you are serious about this, it is time to get busy.  This is not going to be an easy change.  The process can be painful at times and will take real determination to stay with it.  But if you stay diligent, if you stay focused, if you stay consistent, the reward will be oh so sweet!  The process is not complex.  There is no magic or secret formula.  It’s just hard work and will.  

  1. Know what you earn

      • What is your annual gross income? 

      • What is your monthly take home pay? 

      • How often are you paid?

  2. Know what you spend
      • What are your monthly bills? 

      • What are you saving?

      • What are your discretionary expenses?

  3. Know what you owe
      • What type of debt do you have? 

      • What are the balances owed on the debt?

      • What is your credit score?

  4. Know what you want
      • Why are you Done Being Broke? 

      • What type of lifestyle do you want to have? 

      • What are your life goals? 

      • What do you want to do for someone else?

      • When do you want to retire?

      • Are you saving for your children’s future?

      • What will you be doing in retirement?

      • Want to start a business?

      • Do you want to travel?

      • The list goes on and on….
